Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler June 28, 1986. Pickler had a difficult childhood. She was just two when her mother left her to get away from the abusive marriage. Her mother returned in 1995 to her life and took complete charge of the child. But things did not turn out the way she had hoped. At the age of 12, the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents - whom she grew up with. Pickler did not have the capacity to raise her children in their absence. Pickler said she was not able to devote time to studies, she started to master cooking and clean from a very early age. Pickler participated in cheerleading at the middle and high school she attended. North Stanly High School, where she graduated in 2004 is her school of choice.
