Pickler, who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, went through a difficult childhood. At the age of two the mother of her fled from an unfaithful relationship. Her return to the life of Pickler in 1995, and was given custody of her. However it did not take place as expected. Pickler went back to her grandparents at 12 years old. Her grandparents brought the girl into adulthood. Pickler was too busy raising her young children in absence of their parents. Pickler said she was not able to devote time to studies, she started to learn how to cook and wash at a young stage. Pickler participated in the cheerleading teams of her high school as well as middle school. North Stanly High School, where she graduated in 2004 is her school of choice.
