Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer who is best known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared when she made her stage debut. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. In 1957, she made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise made her foray into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. In 1964, she signed to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in more realistic roles, as opposed to her perception as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition as a director on several popular TV shows like Supernatural. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. When she was three, her family relocated her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
